Exclamation marks aside, here is a minimalistic desktop background for Ubuntu. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to modify the Ubuntu logo like this though, so I'm afraid Canonical might sue me.
Also, it's only in 1600x1200 right now, I might upload other resolutions of it later, but if you really need another res, then just ask.
