MarkIt is/may/will be a 'semi-word processing' application. It would not offer all the features of a full blown word processor but would not be as basic as a text editor either. The mockup says it all.
This is awesome! It reminds me a lot of Ulysses III but a little ... I want to say "crisper." It's beautiful though, and I'd love to see it developed so I could use it. But sadly I don't have the knowledge to do it myself.
I just checked out that app, and I have to say, it looks absolutely brilliant! It's a shame that it's only for OS X, but I've tried to start on making this app for all platforms. I haven't got much so far due to it's complexity, unfortunately.
I just recently discovered it myself, but it'd definitely gonna make my life easier. But yeah, it's a shame so many great programs aren't cross-platform. That would be awesome. I wish I had the skills to help, but I'd definitely like to see it's progress.
Is this a real text editor or just a concept? I love this design and would love if it were available to download/use. Feature I thought would be kind of cool is in the document property area, you could have just that area scrollable should there be more document settings/info than displayed there. No scroll bar or anything, just when the user hovers over that area and scrolls their mouse wheel it scrolls up or down the options.
