Iris Dark Gtk Theme: v1.8 by TheVirtualDragon Iris Dark Gtk Theme: v1.8 by TheVirtualDragon
Iris Dark is a flat theme that uses varying shades and tones to create distinction and a modern experience. It supports Gtk 3.10, Gtk 3.12 and Gtk 2 (using the Murrine engine).

I'd appreciate it if you could report any bugs you find at github.com/xyl0n/iris/
Follow the Iris Project page on Google+: plus.google.com/10130091581553…
Also see the Iris Light theme: fav.me/d73dv3h

The icons are not released and the shell theme is Elegance Colors: fav.me/d525x6c

If you wish to, you can buy the theme to help support it's development.

Happy tweaking :)

License: GPL 3.0

EDIT: I want to say thanks to everyone who's favourited, downloaded or even viewed the theme! I never expected it to get so much attention from everyone! Thanks guys :D

Is there any way to make Chrome/Chromium use dark color for top panel with tabs?

You might be able to use a custom theme maker and then just change the colour of the top bar  (something like this: www.themebeta.com/chrome-theme…

Could we get an update to GTK 3.14? It looks like this under Gnome 3.14: i.imgur.com/zmPwgtf.png

I'm very close to releasing the update for 3.14, in the meantime try downloading a zip from www.github.com/xyl0n/iris which should be fully updated.

I've created a PPA for this theme. Run the following commands in a Terminal to install it on your system. Currently it only works on Trusty systems.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kestier19/gtk-themes
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install iris-gtk-dark

Wow, thank you! I'm not sure if future releases of Iris will support Trusty, since the version of Gtk it uses is getting old now, but I still appreciate your work and I'm sure it will be useful for many people. :)

looks rad! Just finished installing it on 14.04. I'm not sure if it is fully supported for 14.04, but I used a git repo from a guy called Kuzirashi.

github.com/Kuzirashi/iris

Workes like a charm now! :)
